MY FINAL DANCE

I sailed away through the galaxy and starry skies held me tight,
But I couldn't get away from me the universe ain't deep or wide enough.
...
(sailed away to a higher plane, darkened skies held me tight

the same old lies still   inside, the strangest thoughts as you collide)

I'm breaking up, I m breaking up my final entry

I followed this spaceman dream, turned my back on family

i stare at Saturn, and i think of home
i rage at Venus, I've just seen my old town

this is my final dance - in the black

this is my final dance

26 miles and half alive, but spinning fast to the great divide
a solar beam, my engine screams, reminds me  of that old dream
I'm breaking up, I m breaking up my final entry
i never got to find the one - gave it up on a long shot

i stare at Saturn, and i feel very old
no supernova as you greet death alone
no bright white tunnel memories will be lost
so rage at Venus i ve just seen my old town
this is my final dance - in the black
this is my final dance
